CUSTOMER SERVICE???

Where has customer service gone these days?? They just opened a new Wal-Mart about a mile from our house and my husband and I went there late last night to "check it out". I seriously doubt I will be going back to that store!! We got there about 10:30 P.M. thinking that it wouldn't be that bad at that hour of the night. Honestly, there weren't very many customers in the store but, because it was shift change, there were about six or eight employees walking down one of the isles coming from the time clock. They were walking side by side and would not move out of the way for the few customers that were trying to shop. And to make matters worse, ALL the male employees were wearing pants that were about four sizes too big for them. They were grabbing at the crotch of their pants and holding onto "whatever" it is that they think they have... Maybe CRABS!!! I can't understand why a corporation as large as Wal-Mart would allow their employees to dress and act so inapropriate. These are the people they hired to represent them to the public!!! Oh, And forget trying to ask someone working there where anything is... They just shrug you off and say they don't know.. They don't offer to help you find the item you are looking for or even try to locate someone who might know where it is. We were looking for a new set of bathroom scales.. One would think that they would be with the rest of the bathroom accessories, you know, shower curtains, trash cans, tooth brush holders, etc.. NOOOO Not at this Wal-Mart... They had the bathroom scales in with the hardware items!! Now how rediculous is that!! Pool and Spa chemicals were in with stationary... About the only thing that was where it should have been was the pet supplies.. I tell ya, customer service has gone out the window!! When I was working, we had a dress code and were trained on how to treat the customers.. And that was for minimum wage!!! These people are making $12.00 to start!!! You would think they would be better trained on how to act like they had some common sense and decency. Not to mention self respect. I was always taught to treat others the way I would expect to be treated myself. And the other thing I was taught at the very first job I had was that the customer may not always be right but they deserve to be treated as though they were right. Just my thoughts!!
